Moussa KALAPO est né le 15 avril 1983 à Bamako au Mali. Il a cependant passé une bonne partie de son enfance à Pointe-Noire au Congo Brazzaville où il a fait une partie de ses études.
Notons que c’est au mali qu’il a obtenu en 2000 son diplôme d’études fondamentales (DEF) avant d’entrer à l’institut de formation professionnelle de Sikasso où il a obtenu aussi un Certificat d’aptitude professionnelle en banque. Il va ensuite s’inscrire à des cours de formation en informatique, à Bamako. Ces cours seront sanctionnés par deux certificats en audiovisuel Option caméra et montage, décernés par la structure PH-Prod-libero Film, basée à Marseille (France).
Moussa dit avoir connu le centre de formation en photographie grâce à un ami. Il explique comment il est entré au Centre comme étudiant : « Comme je faisais déjà des reportages photographiques pour le compte d’associations TIC pour la réalisation de clips vidéo, j’ai décidé d’approfondir mes connaissances en photographie en m’inscrivant au test d’entrée au Centre.
A l’issue de la phase Théorie du test, j’ai été classé 8ème sur 11 candidats. Le Centre n’ayant que six (06) places à pourvoir, il me fallait me battre davantage. C’est ce que j’ai fait lors de la phase Pratique à l’issue de laquelle j’ai été classé 4e dans le classement général. J’ai été très heureux et fier de moi en apprenant ce résultat. Aujourd’hui, c’est parti pour la photographie conceptuelle. »

Moussa said he knew the training center in photography through a friend. He explains how he joined the Center as a student: “Since I was already illustrated reports for the ICT associations to carry video clips, I decided to deepen my knowledge of photography by enrolling in the test Entry to the Centre. At the conclusion of Phase Theory Test, I was ranked 8th out of 11 candidates. The Centre had only six (06) seats to be filled, I had to fight more. That’s what I did during the practice phase after which I was ranked 4th in the standings. I was very happy and proud of me learning this result. Today, we go for the conceptual photography.”

Né en 1965 à Bamako, c’est en 1983 que Sékou Madani TRORÉ a embrassé la photographie, « par passion », dit-il. Du polaroid à l’argentique et au numérique, en passant par le Kodak instantané, il a beaucoup appris mais estime qu’il lui reste encore beaucoup plus à apprendre. Pour celui qui est depuis…. Le président de l’Association des Photographes et Cameramen du Mali (APCM), tout se résume à la photo et il se bat au quotidien pour l’art photographique rayonne au Mali à travers une professionnalisation du secteur.
Dans le cadre de l’atelier numérique du CFP, il a réalisé la série « Luxuriances », qui est comme un cri de cœur face à ces immenses bâtisses d’un luxe arrogant, dans un pays où nombreux sont ceux qui dorment dans des taudis ou tout simplement dans la rue, parce que sans domicile fixe. Pour lui, il bel et bien des frontières entre les différentes couches de notre société.

IGNABODÉ Kossi Mesmin est né le 19 juillet 1981 à Bangui. Après quelques années d’études dans l’enseignement général, il a très vite embrassé la photographie. Son premier appareil photo, il l’a reçu de la part de son grand-frère quand il était encore au collège.
Il connaîtra, à peine entré dans l’univers de la photo, une période de trois années de passage à vide, due à des ennuis financiers. Au bout de ces trois années sabbatiques, il a pu avoir un appareil de marque Zénith qui lui a permis, entre 98 et 99, de se lancer dans les reportages de mariages, de baptêmes, etc.
De 2001 à 2002, il a servi au niveau du Bureau de l’Organisation des Nations Unies en Centrafrique, comme photographe reporter à temps partiel. Il couvrait alors toutes les activités de cet organisme. Entre-temps, en 2003, il a trouvé, lors de recherches sur le Net, l’adresse de la Maison africaine de la photographie et du Centre de Formation en Photographie, deux structures se trouvant au Mali. Cela lui a donné le courage de faire par la route le voyage Bangui-Bamako en 2005, pour assister au déroulement de la 6ème édition des Rencontres africaines de la photographie de Bamako.
De retour à Bangui, Mesmin a créé, en 2007, le studio photo « Photo Diakis » puis une association dénommée Groupement pour le développement de la photographie en Centrafrique.
En septembre 2009, Mesmin a représenté son pays aux 6èmes jeux de la Francophonie, à Beyrouth au Liban.
Revenu au Mali en novembre 2009 à l’occasion des 8èmes Rencontres photographiques de Bamako, il a entendu parler des cours de photographie conceptuelle qui étaient sur le point de démarrer au CFP. Il a dû attendre. Cela a finalement pris des mois. C’est au moment où il a pris la décision de retourner dans son pays que l’appel à candidatures a été lancé. C’est avec beaucoup de joie qu’il a passé le test d’entrée et il est heureux de se retrouver parmi les étudiants de la première promotion de l’école de photographie conceptuelle.

IGNABODÉ Kossi Memin was born on July 19, 1981 in Bangui (Republic of centrafrica). After several years of study in general education, he quickly embraced photography. His first camera, he got it from his senior brother when he was still in college.
He will know, just entered the world of photography, a period of three years of slump, due to financial troubles. After those three years sabbatical, he may have a Zenith brand device that allowed him, between 98 and 99, to start in the reporting of weddings, baptisms, etc..
From 2001 to 2002, he served in the Office of the United Nations in his country, as a photographer part time reporter. He then covered all the activities of this organization. Meanwhile, in 2003, he found when working on the Web, the address of the African house of Photography and of Photography training Center, two structures located in Mali. This gave him the courage to make the journey by road from Bangui to Bamako in 2005 to attend the proceedings of the 6th edition of the African Photography Encounters in Bamako.
Back in Bangui, Mesmin created in 2007, the photo studio “Photo Diakis” then an association called the Group for the development of photography in Centrafrica.
In September 2009, Mesmin has represented his country at the 6th game of the Francophonie in Beirut, Lebanon.
Returning to Mali in November 2009 on the occasion of the 8th Photographic Encounters in Bamako, he has heard of conceptual photography classes were about to start at CFP. He had to wait. It finally took months. That’s when he decided to return to his country, the call for applications was launched. It is with great joy that he passed the entrance test and is happy to be among the first graduating students of the school of conceptual photography.

Abdoulaye Sogodogo est né vers 1978, dans un village nommé Kotoumana, à l’intersection des arrondissements de Lobougoula et de Fourou, dans la région de Sikasso. Après ses études primaires à l’école fondamentale de Konzansso sanctionnées par le Certificat d’études primaires (CEP), il ira poursuivre son parcours scolaire au second cycle de Lobougoula, son chef-lieu d’arrondissement. C’est à Loulouni qu’il décrochera son diplôme d’études fondamentales (DEF) en 1996.
Il entrera ensuite au lycée de Sikasso où il obtiendra, en 2002, son baccalauréat. Il est accueilli par la faculté des sciences juridiques et économiques de l’Université de Bamako où il obtiendra une maîtrise en Droit des affaires, en 2008.
En 2009, Abdoulaye a suivi, au Centre de langue à Badalabougou (un quartier de Bamako), un cours de renforcement en anglais, pendant six mois. Il en est sorti avec une attestation de niveau Two B.

Abdoulaye Sogodogo was born around 1978 in a village called Kotoumana at the intersection of two districts : Lobouboula and Fourou, in Sikasso area. After his primary school at the elementary school of Konzansso sanctioned by the Certificate of Primary Education, he will continue his education at the second cycle of Lobougoula, his district main town. In 2009, Abdoulaye attended for six months a perfecting course in english at the Centre for Language of Badalabougou (a neighborhood in Bamako). He received there a certificate level Two B.
